What Are Your Weekend Plans?

How was your week? I had a very productive one, and I am now happy for the weekend.

My Friday started off with a visit from my sister, niece and nephews. And we will be spending the evening together too. I am having pretty much of a laid back Friday, and I love spending time with my family♥

I will be making beet root juice☺ And I might also be pampering myself a bit tomorrow... A girl needs that sometimes.

What are your plans for the weekend?

Have a good one♥

Love,
Summer

  3. I wish my plans included that beach in your photo;) I'm looking forward to a weekend with nothing planned, so I can work on some projects and clean my house! Not very exciting, but I am excited to have the down time.

  4. My husband and I will be working in the yard getting things set for winter.
Doing some leave raking, and digging up some old shrubs and bushes.
In the evening meeting a group from our church and going out to dinner.

  5. It was a rough week! Last week at this time, I went downstairs to use the restroom and found none of the toilets would flush (and were overflowing). Turns out, our septic tank needed to be pumped, but the plumber who showed up in the middle of the night wasn't smart enough to know that. So he performed two hours of work and got zero pay for it. The next day we had that fixed...then on Election Day, our furnace wasn't working. So Election Night, my dog and I huddled in the bedroom with a space heater. Fortunately, we have both heat and toilets now and I'm VERY grateful for that!

  13. Me--week ends I mainly work on counted cross stitching while watching NASCAR--(next week end though is the last week end for racing until Feb--) I still like to do counted cross stitching so plan it for week ends while I can still see to do it--during the week I quilt and knit alot--
I started taking a capsule of beet powder about 4-5 months ago or so --trying to lower my blood pressure--not sure it did alot that way--but am pretty sure it lowered my A1C (sugar) and my cholesterol by 20 points--so will keep taking it!!
I have my kids over for dinner and cards on Thursday nights--only family close by--
Have a great week end pampering yourself--
    love and laughter, di

  14. It's been unseasonably warm here where I live, Summer, so your beach looks very inviting! Unfortunately, I haven't been near the beach for a couple of weeks as I've been relief teaching but I'm finished that work now so hope to return to my regular beach walks this coming week.

The weather here is very hot and humid so I have worked outside in the garden and walked the dog early before coming inside during the hottest times of the day. There's always a lot to do inside too but this weekend I've been making salads and finished a little online Christmas shopping to supplement the things I've been making for gifts. I've managed a few pages of a good book too. Have a lovely week. Meg:)

  16. I have been crying my eyes out watching sappy inspiring movies that tug at the heart. The boys are camping and I ate a three day old left over PB& J from son's lunch... lazy cook...

    Never tasted Beet Juice.
