What Are Your Weekend Plans?

Yippie Yeaa ☺☺ Aren't you happy for another weekend?

I have no real plans yet, but I know coconuts and homemade ice- cream will be involved, and sand between my toes. My week was pretty much a lovely one, and I hope yours was too.

What will you be doing this weekend? Cooking or baking anything special?

Have a really really lovely weekend♥

Love,
Summer

  1. this weekend will be a nice weekend here weather wise I believe and I do think we will continue working on an outside project fall is very much here now and if we want the project done or almost done before cold weather arrives in December we better get moving! I will still have plenty of break time though for sewing/quilting

  6. Beautiful snap-shot!
I could go for some sand-between-the-toes..I'm afraid here we will have to exchange sandals for socks! Much cooler now but great weather for getting out to enjoy autumn colors in Canada! that is what I hope to do this week-end before we get rain from the tail end of Hurricane Nicole.

Do you have autumn where you live. If so, what is it like?

  7. Coconuts and homemade ice cream...ah...sounds perfect. My weekend will be filled with painting/decorating and errands and Nutcracker rehearsals and (sadly) a celebration of life "party" for a former client who has passed away. I drafted her will a little over a year ago - this is the first time for me that one of my will clients has died...it was lovely meeting her family and talking about her....we all laughed and it was good...but sad too. So that is my crazy, lovely weekend. :)

  9. That is a pretty photo. One thing I plan to do this weekend is continue revising the rough draft of the children's book I am writing. And Bible study and church on Sunday. Right now I am celebrating the rain shower we are having.

  10. I will be working on some Christmas gifts--mostly with applique--and hopefully the wind here will die down and I can go down on the dock and enjoy some sunshine and my little birds will be back for me to feed and watch (they all disappeared for hurricane Matthew--and this week the wind has still be high so I haven't seen them or even been able to stay on the dock long--the wind is thanks to hurricane Nicole!! they say--!!!
    enjoy --

  18. Hi Summer, your weekend sounds like fun. It is going to be a lovely Spring day here in Eaglemont, Victoria, Australia and I am off to a dumpling making class with some girlfriends today and then to a David Bowie tribute concert at Hamer Hall tonight. Although my day has not started all that well, as I think that I have just broken the little toe on my right foot! K xxx

  21. Wait . . . you live on an island? Like with a beach, and sand between your toes?! How wonderful! Sounds lovely.

We are helping our daughter and son-in-law move her furniture out of our house (they just got married), and then they're having us to their house for our first dinner with them as a married couple!

  31. Dearest Summer,
Well, your plans sound really good! Would love to swap.
First I'm attending a Bridal shower in the afternoon and I also plan to cook Indonesian style chicken with a spicy peanut sauce and I serve it with steamed broccoli and sweet potato roasted in the skin and diced up.
With the autumn arriving slowly, we all long for baking and preparing some hot foods. Salads and cool meals are summer fare but now a hearty soup is a welcome dish.
Happy Sunday and hugs to you,
    Mariette

  32. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. Weekends seem to run by before much gets done. Luckily this one included SUN so it meant laundry, airing bedding, cleaning and teaching an English lesson. Sunday will be started early with lots of song, which is not a bad way to start the day. Hope your weekend meets all the expectations.
