A Happiness List

  • Cool weather- I am living on a tropical island, but lately I am so happy that the nights have gotten so chilly, and the days are cool too with mild sunshine.
  • Clean sheets- They made my sleep so wonderful last night.
  • Fresh fruits and living close to shopping areas- I don't really like buying a lot of fruits in bulk, because spoilage is just not nice. I am happy to be living in walking distance to shopping areas in my small town, so that I can easily take an evening stroll and grab some fresh fruits.
Happy Sunday☺

Love,
Summer

  7. Still hot here on the very cusp of November. Such strange weather. I like nothing better than some nice flannel sheets, firm pillows and a great book to read.

  17. Awww laying down to sleep in clean sheets, if it wasn't such a hassle to change them and wear them out quicker it would be nice to have that every night :) I am sure enjoying the cooler temps too, I am just not ready for what is to come, don't care for dealing with the snow anymore :(

  20. Sounds like a very nice day. Ours included lots of singing, first at 2 church services and then at a memorial service for a former chorister. He loved music and there was wonderful bells music in his honor as well as a couple of choral pieces and a terrific organ piece....very uplifting!

  21. I was thinking that cake looked like one in the photos in one of my old cookbooks! Would be interesting to try...though I'm not sure I'd like to go to all the work of making it myself. I'm just thankful for Betty Crocker and her box cakes! Awesome that you have fresh fruit nearby. I really miss the fresh coconuts we enjoyed when we lived on the coast.
