What Are Your Weekend Plans?

I hope you had the most wonderful week!

I have been under the weather a bit this week... I am pulling myself out of the rut though.
Tomorrow, I will be getting a hairdo and visiting family with Charlotte☺
I am hoping to take a beach walk also,  if the rain allows it.

How was your week? What are your plans for the weekend?

As usual, I love reading your comments about what you are getting up to♥

Have a really good one☺

Love,
Summer

  1. Saturday is my birthday. I plan on making myself a carrot cake which I very much love - I rarely bake anymore as we are trying to eat healthy - but a birthday is a birthday after all - other than that it will be the same old stuff here, relaxing, stitching, visiting with our DD and eating cake!

  3. Well, sweet friend....I have 2 exams that must be taken online for Macro Economics (first one is 30 min-50 questions and the second one is 30 min and 5 short answers). AND I have to finish my paper for Contemporary Social Problems class and other homework...no break for me.

I am hoping you will show your new hairdo, smiles. Have a beautiful Friday.

  4. After all the excitement of last weekend, this week will be a low-key one. Cleaning and laundry and dishes are an ongoing thing here.

  5. Hi Summer! Thanks for your visit to my blog this morning! I see we have some mutual connections, which is always fun! Wishing you a good weekend! I have nothing planned right now, but that can change in a minute! LOL Be blessed!

  6. A beach walk sounds lovely. We used to live in Florida, about 45 minutes from New Smyrna Beach, so trips to the beach were a regular part of our life. Now, we live in a landlocked state, and the closest beach is 10 hours away.

My weekend excitement is a wedding. Friends of my daughter and son-in-law are getting married, and my husband and I will be sharing in the joyful celebration.

    Blessings,

  12. Hi, Summer! Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you are feeling perkier! Right now my husband and I are visiting Victoria, BC, Canada ~ on an island very different from yours. Victoria is getting ready for the visit of Prince William, Kate, and their kiddos, George and Charlotte; they arrive tomorrow. More exciting to us is the arrival of my sister and her husband in two days, along with visiting two of our nieces (one of whom belongs to another sister). So I am looking forward to a fantastic weekend. Hope yours is too!

  15. Thanks for commenting on my blog. Wherever your island is I can bet its warmer and drier than Wales. Enjoy your weekend, and if I lived in your tropical paradise I'm sure I would spend some of it in the sea.

  28. Beautiful photo ~ as usual! I've had such horrible allergies & migraines for days. Hoping you feel much better and enjoy your walk on the beach. IF our cool front does make it, I think I'll make soup for the first time this season! I can only eat it in cool weather but it's such a cozy, homey feeling.

  33. Hello Summer! Thank you for visiting my blog. It's always wonderful to meet another island blogger.

We were thinking of going to see the rail cars, but my stomach has been bothering me so I don't know what we'll do today.
