What Are Your Weekend Plans?

Aloha! How was your week? I am glad I can say mine was good.

What are your plans for the weekend? Mine will be a quiet one. I plan to get some good rest tomorrow and make pumpkin soup. And I think I will be having dinner with my sister on Sunday♥

What are your plans? Going somewhere, or staying home? What will you be cooking or making?

Also... Thank you for your sweet comments, visits and emails over the past few days. They mean the world to me.

Do have a lovely  and relaxing weekend♥

  2. Just found your new blog and read about losing your old one. Quite a few blogs have been silent lately and now I'm wondering if they have had similar problems. Having dinner with one's sister sounds like a lovely thing to do right now. Mine are too far away.

I am going to be preparing my home for company - not in having to clean it but in freshening up decor, and making sure we have good things to eat!

  17. So happy to make your acquaintance! Pumpkin soup? Sounds delicious. You must post the recipe! Love your photos. To answer your questions...this weekend we will be celebrating my oldest son's birthday here at home. He wants BBQ ribs, potato salad, and all the trimmings. Cake and ice-cream of course. We take care of my 93 yr old mother in law on the weekends and she has advanced dementia...so things get pretty interesting at times. Hoping she will behave herself this weekend so we can have a nice party! Actually, we are blessed to have her, and she just adds to the entertainment. Thank you for stopping by my place earlier. Looking forward to getting better acquainted in the future! Blessings to you and yours.

  19. Hello Summer, I'm so happy to meet you! Just read some of your posts and I'm very sorry you lost your old blog, I would love to have seen it. But you have the most gorgeous photos here!

Your weekend sounds lovely and I'm so happy to say that this is a wonderful weekend for me. Our son and future daughter-in-law are here from TN visiting for the weekend, the first time I've seen him in over 4 months when he helped us move to FL. So this is a conversation weekend, my favorite times. I had a supper last night from some of his childhood favorites and tonight he's taking us out for seafood. We will squeeze in as many moments that we can until they fly home Sunday night.

    Best to you,
    Dewena

  21. Summer, that photo is so beautiful ~ thanks for sharing it with us! Your weekend sounds delightful! I'll still be the "nurse on duty" for my sweet boy. He's doing well and I'm so grateful! Just having a challenge with cones and his need to find a place to rub his head. Feel like I have a toddler in the house full of electrical outlets! :)

    Enjoy ~

  37. Your relaxing weekend sounds wonderful, we all need those at times.
I'm planning on making some mini cheery pies to freeze so my mother can take them with her when she goes south for the winter in her coach. I was also hoping to get some peaches canned as this is the time of year for that, and of course firewood is always on the weekend to do list as we get closer to the snow flying.
    Your image is beautiful~~

  38. That is a gorgeous photo, I wondered what a coleus plant was doing in it,
then realized you are in the Pacific, Hawaii, Marshall Islands? I am
almost 80 and an old woman, I have been doing yard work, and pulled all my muscles.
This weekend I am eating out and resting. Maybe take in a movie. Pumpkin soup sounds great.
Thanks for your comment, lets keep in touch. yvonne

  42. So sorry about the loss of your previous blog. Sounds like a terrible way to conduct business to me. I would be in mourning, as well, as so much work goes into keeping blogs fresh and interesting.

    Hope your weekend is peaceful.
